Traces VI

An open exhibition in A5

Generator Gallery

Entries close midnight Monday 1 August 2022

Exhibition: 26 August – 9 October 2022
Opening 6pm Friday 26 August 2022

As time passes, we leave traces of where we have been and whom we have encountered on the way.  Artists and creatively adventurous individuals are invited from throughout Australia to respond to this theme: speaking to our sense of place, connections made, stories shared, the changes that have taken place and memories gathered.

We are encouraging you to investigate your ideas of connection, transformation, and memory playfully, thoughtfully, radically, or somewhere in between as you explore the people, your relationships, places, adventures and the environments that you cherish.

Following on the success of our previous Traces exhibitions, we are delighted to rekindle Traces VI in 2022. We welcome contributions from all ages and viewpoints, and in any medium. Artists working in any stage of their creative practice be it as a professional or hobbyist, you are invited to submit work exploring this theme at A5 (21 x 14.8cm) size.

This is an open exhibition and as such we aim to include all entries. All works will be eligible for selection in the People’s Choice Award, $500 that will be announced at the conclusion of the exhibition.

Entries are due midnight Monday 1 August with all works to be received by no later than 4pm Friday 19 August 2022.

If you have any questions or require further information please contact Monika McInerney, Artistic Director & Co – CEO on (02) 6173 3304 or moni@belco-arts
