Join local artist, byrd for a step by step guide to zine making!In a throwback to byrd and Hanna's time in the Generator Gallery working alongside the fabulous Graeme Base exhibition, we hope you enjoy making your own stories in your new zine.byrd and Hanna Hoyne worked together to produce a mural across the walls of the Generator Gallery bringing a new suite of characters to the world of Graeme Base’s children’s book The Worst Band in the Universe. Artists UK Fredrick and Vahri Mckenzie recently led a unique, free workshop called "Exploded View", a public program accompanying the University of Canberra Design Faculty Staff exhibition, Upending | Mending. Participants took apart discarded devices and used the resulting bits to create compositions that were used as the basis for artworks.“I really enjoyed seeing all the different ways other participants worked - it was fascinating, and it also felt good seeing everyone getting right into it and learning about what was inside the things we deconstructed, and having fun. ...
