Share Your NAIDOC
Video competition for schools, early learning centres, childcare centres, and OSHC programs across the ACT
Entries close midnight Sunday 22 November 2020
NAIDOC in the North is going online this year, and while we can’t come together and celebrate with our wider community, we’d love your help to celebrate our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture with the community.
The Share your NAIDOC video competition invites schools, early learning centres, OSHC programs and childcare facilities from across the ACT to share how they are celebrating NAIDOC 2020 – Always Was, Always Will Be.
Perhaps you’re doing some creative arts activities in class? Are you having a special guest visit your group to celebrate with you? Maybe you’ve been doing some classroom learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture? Perhaps you want to share what this year’s theme Always Was, Always Will Be means to you?
Whatever it is, if you can tell us about it in a video that’s under 3 minutes long, we’d love to hear it!
There are great prizes to be won – thanks to Communities@work, the most creative and passionate entry NAIDOC celebration will win a gift voucher for $500 to put towards new Indigenous resources at their school or centre. There are also two runners up prizes of $300 and $200 vouchers up for grabs.
NAIDOC in the North 2020 is presented by Belco Arts, ACT Child and Family Centres, ACT Education Directorate, Libraries ACT, Capital Region Community Service, Communities@Work and Ginninderry.
