Mindful Drawing

An Infuse: Artists Strengthening Communities session

Made possible by our wonderful Infuse patrons – become one today.

Online via Zoom
12-1:30pm Saturday 30 October 2021

Free, but bookings essential

Explore your creative capabilities, connect with your thoughts and capture the moment on paper. Local artist Kiran Grewal will help you to discover the process of spontaneous drawing and how to make it an effective means of expression. You do not need any special materials for this session, you can use everyday drawing or writing materials found at home to capture your thoughts and feelings.

The purpose of this Infuse session is to be yourself, be mindful in the moment and put aside any external life pressures or negative influences. You will be encouraged to draw an object from your home during the session, and you are welcome to share your drawing with Kiran and your new community of fellow Mindful Drawing participants, if you wish.

Designed for all ages and levels of ability, you can participate at your own level of comfort and are able to drop in at any point. The session will be as inclusive as possible and focus on coming together in a safe, shared space to enjoy some communal creative time.
