Offering a variety of styles such as modern, hip hop, salsa, semi-classical and Bhangara, the combination of vibrant music and energetic moves engage both left and right brain function, assist in overcoming coordination issues, improve balance and bone density and are sexy, silly fun! Offering the highest level of expert training, Canberra School of Bollywood Dancing’s focus is on fun group lessons. Anyone can learn Bollywood-style dance; no previous experience is needed, simply a love of foot-tapping music and fun! Launched in September 2006, Canberra School of Bollywood Dancing boasts an exciting range of courses ranging from modern Bollywood, to upbeat Bhangra, right through to traditional classical for kids and adults and Bollywood fitness classes. The school’s aim is to help promote health and fitness through dancing and has been creating a vibrant Bollywood atmosphere in Canberra for the past 13 years, having conducted many workshops at government departments, corporate events, festivals and embassies. Always a crowd pleaser and a huge hit with audiences, the troupe has performed overseas in Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong and has accompanied many Bollywood actors and singers on their tours of Australia.
- For our entertainment service to Canberra, CSBD was a finalist in the 2013 and 2016 Australian Capital Territory Centenary Multicultural Award.

Bookings essential: contact email@example.com. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely (e.g. track pants, t-shirt, skirt). Dancing is done barefoot. Non-slip socks, dance sneakers or jazz shoes may be worn. Please bring a bottle of water & arrive on time so that you don’t miss out on the warm-up routine.
