Local chameleon Jake Silvestro is taking over our beautiful Theatre by the lake for a 2-week RISE residency.

Jake will be putting the final touches on his original production of December which will premiere in 2022. December delivers a narrative of a nation hard hit by the climate crisis. Jake’s fusion of astounding acrobatics and large-scale drawing are the vessel for this conversation.

A solo show that opens a space for reflection on sustainability and the broader community’s response to the 2019/2020 Australian bushfires.

As part of our RISE residency program, Jake will receive full time artist wages plus support and resources from Belco Arts.
