IGNITE: Social broadens our artists’ focus areas through regular creative exchanges that introduce participants to the Canberra arts and cultural sector. IGNITE: Social aims to extend the cultural participation of IGNITE artits and improves their access and inclusion in the arts as makers and viewers.

One Friday each month, we invite a creative professional to share their story. Meeting at Belconnen Arts Centre, discussions will provide firsthand experience, build awareness, confidence and share information on existing networks and the wider arts community. Every other Friday, IGNITE: Social events will include gallery, theatre, sites of cultural significance and studio visits. We will also facilitate on-site studio time at Belconnen Arts Centre for IGNITE artists. This is called IGNITE: Open and bookings can be made by contacting Belco Arts.
