Arts Activities Funding | artsACT

Arts Activities Funding provides support for Canberra artists, groups and organisations to undertake arts activities including creating new work, professional or skills development, mentoring, residencies, and community arts and cultural development and engagement.

Activities can be across a range of artforms including dance, digital games, literature, music, new media, screen, theatre, visual arts, and arts-based festivals.

Funding categories:

Arts Activities Funding is available through two categories:

  • Up to $5k Funding: open all year round.
  • $5-50k Funding: two rounds per year

Arts Projects for Individuals and Groups | Creative Australia

Creative Australia funds a range of activities that deliver benefits to the arts sector and wider public, including national and international audiences and communities.

Grants are available from $10,000 to $50,000. Supported activities must not last longer than two years from the proposed start date.

Fundraising platform for artists | Australian Cultural Fund

The Australian Cultural Fund (ACF) is a fundraising platform for Australian artists. Through the ACF, artists upload their project, start their fundraising campaign and invite art lovers and supporters to donate with 100% of donations going directly towards artists’ creative projects.

CBR Screen Investment Fund | Screen Canberra

The CBR Screen Investment Fund is managed by Screen Canberra, under agreement with the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Government, to foster a vibrant ACT screen industry.

Screen Canberra will fund projects and practitioners accordingly within its strategic remit to:

  • Uphold the quality and quantity of screen productions in the ACT
  • Foster projects with creative merit and market engagement
  • Contribute to the growth and sustainability of the local screen industry
  • Champion diversity
  • Contribute to the profile of the ACT region nationally and internationally
  • Nurture the professional development of local talent
  • Return capital to the Fund

The Fund is multipurpose and strategic, enabling us to remain responsive to continuing change and innovation.

Screen Canberra encourages diverse screen professionals including First Nations people, people living with a disability, those identifying as LGBTIQ+, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to apply.
