Over the course of three months, ANU students and IGNITE artists have developed artworks and bespoke products, utilising discarded strings from tennis racquets. Innovative bespoke products, like one-of-a-kind jewellery and carefully crafted woven vessels, will be showcased and available for sale at Belconnen Arts Centre. This project raises awareness through shared experience and builds our collective capacity to address the barriers (attitudinal/ physical) faced by artists and designers living with disability.
This project is a creative collaboration between Belconnen Arts Centre, the Australian National University in response to the brief provided by Glenda Stowell, the originator of the Bounce Back concept.
