Celebrate Gungahlin: For Community Groups

From sporting clubs to singing groups, churches to garden clubs, there are so many organisations that hold the fabric of our community together. If you’re one of them, there are plenty of opportunities for you to be part of the festival and share what you do with those around you.

Host a Neighbour Day community picnic

Gungahlin’s local parks
12-3pm Sunday 28 March 2021

Sunday 28 March is Neighbour Day and we’ll be celebrating with simultaneous picnics at parks and playgrounds across Gungahlin. Each picnic will feature some roving entertainment and lots of community spirit. These picnics aim to bring people together with those closest to them in the local community.

We are on the lookout for organisations who are deeply connected to their local Gungahlin suburb to help us connect with people right across Gungahlin and deliver these events. You’ll have the support of the Celebrate Gungahlin planning team to manage these events.

If you’d like to be involved, please complete the form below to express your interest. Contact Gungahlin Programs Officer Michele Grimston on 0403 929 739 or michele@belcoarts.com.au if you have any questions.
