We are excited to announce the first five successf

We are excited to announce the first five successful projects funded through the Going the Distance fundraising campaign, run to support Canberra region artists throughout COVID-19. In accordance with the nationwide shutdown of places of social gathering, Belconnen Arts Centre is closed to the public, and all in-person activities scheduled to take place in the Centre will be postponed indefinitely. - We take our role in protecting the public from further spread of COVID-19 very seriously. We also take the livelihood of artists and the value of the arts to the community very seriously. Just because our doors are shutting does not mean we stop working on fuelling a love of and engagement in the arts. Like so many organisations, we are working on ways to keep connected and to support the industry we are all a part of. - We're all going to take a moment to breathe, readjust, and then focus on getting on with our mission. In light of the rapidly evolving situation regardi

In light of the rapidly evolving situation regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have made the decision to cancel all public gatherings hosted by Belco Arts, effective immediately and until further notice. This includes all workshops and exhibition openings.⁠ -⁠ Classes and other activities presented by hirers at Belco Arts may continue to be offered - please check with the organisers directly.⁠ -⁠ At this stage, the Centre will remain open to the public. Your health and safety are the most important things to us, and as such, Belco Arts has introduced extra sanitisation procedures that ensure regular disinfection of surfaces.
