Update due to coronavirus
As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, we are postponing all IGNITE classes presented by Belconnen Arts Centre for the foreseeable future. Your health and safety are the most important things to us, and we will be working as quickly as we can to find ways to redesign the program so it can be presented safely. We will do everything we can to keep the classes connected during the coming weeks while it isn’t possible for us to come together in person. We will keep you up to date as we work out the details.
Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to reconnecting soon!
IGNITE: Social aims to extend the cultural participation of IGNITE: Alternative Arts Academy participants and improve their access and inclusion in the arts as makers and viewers. IGNITE: Social draws on the skills, interests and experiences of all to create a curated series of social and creative exchanges that introduce participants to the Canberra arts and cultural sector, including shared gallery visits, live music and theatre experiences. IGNITE: Social aims to provide supported access and first-hand experience, build awareness and confidence, and share information of existing networks and the wider arts community.
